Thinking Thick Thoughts

by Janet February 15, 2018 No Comments

I had my second check up today as we needed some more time from last week.  My lining went from 6mm last Thursday, 2/8 to 7.2mm today, Thursday 2/15!!!  My second transfer had the thickest lining at 7.3 back in November 2016.  This is GREAT!  With that said, it’s not quite there yet per Dr.; which I agree.  The standard is to have at least an 8mm.  We will add more time before we call the party off.  I will be going in for my check up early next week to get the green light or restart this process (it delays it to 3-4 weeks).

I also added 2 medications last week – estrace and trental, along with daily routine of: eating 3 Brazil nuts, drinking a cup of bone broth (which I will increase), castor oil packs (it’s recommend 3-4 times a week), 1 hour of fertility yoga, at least 1 – 2 leg on the wall pose, 20-30 min foot bath and trying to remain stress free.  The key is to get blood flow to uterus to help thicken the lining as well as warming the womb. Not sure what if any of the things I did helped it get 1.2mm but I’ll take it!  The more you know right?!?!?!?!

I feel good but will feel better if my lining increases at the same rate, it should get to at least an 8mm right?

My personal leave starts in a few days!  I will be happy to focus on one thing and not feel all over the place.  I hope to not get bored because my life will definitely be at a slower pace from the fast paced event work life I have been living the past 8 years!
