We have the green light to get this party started again! The key was waiting for my friend, Flo to show up. I had a check up today; things looked good and now we kick start the shots and drugs again! The protocol was slightly changed and we will add the uterine wash that I mentioned in my last post (if needed). I am very glad that I have a uterine lining specialist and a fertility doctor working together; it’s like I have a dream team. I will go back in about 2 weeks for a lining check. Hoping we can transfer sometime later this month!
Over the last 2 years, we haven’t been able to travel much due to work schedules and many doctor visits. We have always been on standby with the IVF; so vacations have been limited. If we are able to jet out; we don’t have many options as we need to avoid zika! We will be going on 2 little winter trips in between with friends this month and enjoy some time away from home.
New Protocol
- Medications begin on on day 2 of cycle
- No more Lupron
- Delestrogen 4mg every 3 days (shot in the behind)
- Estrace 1mg twice daily
- Trental 400mg twice daily
- Vitamin E 1000iu daily
- Aspirin 81mg daily
- Prenatal Vitamin
- Lining check 2-3 weeks after starting medications.
- Cavity flush at his office G-CSF during cycle, if needed
